St. Anne's Episcopal (Anglican) Church in Crystal River, is looking for an organist/choir director. A small choir who meets only in the winter - rehearsing every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. prior to the 10:15 service. Holiday United Church of Christ, 4826 Bartelt Road, Holiday, FL 34690, is currently seeking an organist / choir director. This position requires approximately 3-4 hours a week overseeing a one-hour choir rehearsal (currently Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.), as well as playing the organ and/or piano and leading our choir (8-12 strong) during our Sunday worship service at 10:30 a.m. This individual would also be called upon to be available for services on Ash Wednesday (6:30 p.m.), Maundy Thursday (7:00 p.m.) and Christmas Eve (4:00 p.m.). We are a small congregation, comprised mostly of seniors, with attendance ranging from approximately 45 in the summer to around 90 during the winter months. Our pew hymnal is "The Celebration Hymnal," and we also use hymns from "The New Century Hymnal."

Venice Presbyterian Church seeks a qualified musician with appropriate education and experience in several areas: organ/piano skills, hymn-playing, improvisation, presentation of solo organ literature and choral accompaniment. The individual must be comfortable with a variety of musical worship styles.
Position
This is a salaried part- time position, requiring 15 hours/week and a yearly salary range of $15,000. to $17,000., negotiable. The Associate Organist/Accompanist will fulfill the following responsibilities:
- serve as organist/accompanist for two Sunday morning services (9:15am & 11:00am) and other special seasonal worship services (Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Thanksgiving, Wednesday Lenten Services) as well as any other special performances held at VPC
- accompany the regularly scheduled Wednesday evening and Sunday morning rehearsals of the Chancel Choir and various other ensembles as well as any special rehearsals for vocalists and instrumentalists
- have first right of refusal for all weddings and funerals held at VPC requiring organ or keyboard music, with additional honorarium to be provided by the contracting parties for these services
- report to Minister of Music, work in cooperation with pastoral staff, select music that reflects our faith community and enhances our worship life
- consult with Minister of Music for worship planning
- secure substitute organists when not available
Compensation
- Hours: This is a salaried part-time position requiring 15 hours/week
- Annual Salary: Compensation will be determined within AGO guidelines and commensurate with candidate’s experience and education
