St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church

Organist/Choirmaster wanted beginning February 1st at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, St. Petersburg, Florida. Position is currently part time (salary or contract negotiable) with continuing education and staff singers presently included in the parish music budget. Candidates with liturgical tradition training and/or experience preferred. Very small but capable choir sings standard Church music, and is a principle component of our Sunday Celebration of the Holy Eucharist and designated Feast Days.

Regular duties and responsibilities include: one weekly service with seasonal weekly choir rehearsal. Staff position reports to, and serves at the discretion of, the parish rector.

Eastminster Presbyterian Church

Eastminster Presbyterian Church, a 450 member and growing church with a well-established music program located on the East (Space) Coast of Florida in Indialantic, is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Music Ministry/Organist. This is a full time position with benefits or it can be shared. Applicants should have passions and backgrounds which include worship leadership, directing vocal choirs of all ages, experience with bell choirs and instrumental groups, and a love for a broad range of musical styles. Experience in a growing church and technological adeptness are pluses.

Traditional choir of 30+, oversee the contemporary praise team with its own leader, 2 bell choirs and youth choirs/musicians as well as play pipe organ, Allen organ, and Bösendorfer grand piano. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
